From the Magnum division of Boker comes the Kalashnikov automatic knife. A name that is synonymous with genius, strength and reliability and changing the face of modern warfare. Boker has secured the exclusive rights from Mikhail Timofeevich Kalashnikov, the mastermind behind the famed AK-47, for a line of equally impressive knives. The design, contour and lines of this Dietmar Pohl design complement the style found in the original AK-47. The finest machine work is incorporated into the anodized 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum handles, designed for a firm and secure grip. Handle inlays are made of G-10 material. The partially serrated, black Teflon finished 3.25" blade on the OLIVE DRAB model and the plain blade bead blast finish on the BLACK model are reminiscent by way of the grip of the bayonet used with the AK-47. It is made of AUS8 stainless steel with a Rockwell Hardness of 58. These automatic knives have a positive slide safety and open very fast. Each knife is serial numbered and both models come in a collectors box in the shape of an AK-47 magazine. Overall open length: 7.5". these are a serial numbered production run
