DUAL ACTION OUT THE FRONT The premier Italian switchblade knife maker. For over 80 years, the "secrets" of these knives, which are part of the Maniago Smiths' history, have been handed down from father to son according to an ancient family tradition. The care to detail and precision in the spring mechanism has earned Beltrame knives the respect and approval of demanding customers the world over. In response to the new German law that went into effect January 1, 2003 prohibiting the manufacture of OTF knives with a blade length over 3", the Italian knife makers have started to manufacture them for the world market. This Dual Action (Two Way) is a new item available to us from the knife shop of Fratelli Betrame. It features an aircraft aluminum handle and an AISI 420 Stainless Steel standard blade. Until now, a quality brand name dual action out the front (OTF) knife was impossible to find at an affordable price. If you have always wanted one but couldn't bring yourself to paying hundreds of dollars for one, we now have them at a most reasonable price.
Blade Length: 3.23 inches NOTE: A dual action or two way out the front is one that opens and closes with a spring. Slide the lever forward and it opens. Slide it back and it retracts. Most inexpensive OTF's open with a spring but you must hold the knife vertical and let the blade retract by gravity and then seat it manually. $164.50 THIS KNIFE IS NO LONGER BEING MADE AND IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
